MEETING PLACE FOR CLASS OUTING.
12:40 PM
Hello class!
The outing's tomorrow!
Most of us will probably be coming on the
North-South line so it will be rather inconvenient for us to go to Bedok, which is on the
East-West line.
Therefore, it will be easier for us to meet at Toa Payoh station instead, and take a bus from there.
This was a suggestion on Shannon [the Sheep]'s part.
The bus ride will take about 45 minutes, so we will be meeting at
Toa Payoh station at
10 15.
DO NOT BE LATE,
please.
Also, please bring a change of clothes for we'll be having water games.
Caps, sunblock, sand toys.
And bring your enthusiasm!
Thanks!
- SUMI :D

FOOD- 206 Class Outing June 2010!!!
3:12 PM
Hey 206!(:
After much deliberation on a successful class outing, we have come out with this. This is only the part on food.
Each person will bring a kind of food. It's potluck, not barbeque, so don't bring uncooked food. So there's this list below, which will state the different types of food planned, and how many people bringing each type. Please do not clash. For example, for the people bringing chips, please plan with each other who is buying what flavour, so that there would be no clashes. Also, when buying the food, please remember to keep the receipt for your money refund from the class fund, when school starts. Please try to keep your budget low, as the class fund is limited. As for how much each person should bring, it will be stated below too.
Look through the different categories and choose the type of food you would like to bring, and SMS Sarah. There is a maximum number of people in each 'food group', so hurry if you would like to bring this particular type of food. This is run on a first-come-first-serve basis, so hurry! This list was prepared assuming that 20 people are coming.
The list of who's bringing what's below:
Drinks (3 people maximum, each person ONE bottle, budget is $3 per person):
-Benedict

-Wilson
Chips (3 people maximum, each person ONE big packet, budget is $3 per person):

-Hedyla
Fried Rice (one person maximum, buy whatever ingredient you need, cook it and bring, budget is decided by the person, with our consultation):
-Zachary
Fishballs/Fishcakes (one person maximum, buy as you deem fit, no budget, but don't overspend):

Lots of Love,
Sarah and Sumithri(:
Where To Meet for the Class Outing(:
Sunday, June 20, 2010 10:39 PM
Hey everyone!
This is Sarah. I have just asked Sumi to send a message to all of you for suggestions and attendance. (Thanks, Sumi!)P Please reply by Tuesday, 22nd June, 23 59! Meanwhile, I have decided how everyone should meet, after looking at last year's situation. This is what I have concluded:
Step 1: Take an MRT to either Paya Lebar or Eunos Station, whichever you prefer, but both are almost of the same distance away from East Coast Park.
Step 2: Take a taxi to Big Splash. Or if you can find/know a bus going from either stations to East Coast Park, please tell everyone! Thanks!
Step 3: Wait for people.
Okay so that's how you get there. I'll continue trying to find buses there, but if anyone knows how, please tell everyone! It doesn't have to be at Big Splash, as long as it goes to East Coast Park, it is fine. Big Splash is just used as a landmark known to most people.
As for food, please reply me on your suggestions. A question to anyone who wants to answer: If some people are going the early to buy food, then where will they cook it?
That's all! Thanks and reply me!(:
Cheers,
Sarah!
Class Outing 2010
Wednesday, June 16, 2010 5:25 PM
Date: 24 June 2010
Time to meet: 11am
Time it ends: ~6pm (there will be time will given to wash up, after which we will be going for dinner. Note: dinner is optional)
Amount of money to bring: At least $15 (its a 'just in case' depending on how much you actually want to eat)
During these 4 days that I'm away, I hope that the committee members and the class can come to an agreement on what you want to bring (food), since you are the people who decide what you want to eat. But I suggest we do the same thing as what we did during the Rhian's house gathering. Those who can wake up earlier, we can meet nearby to shop for the food that the class needs using the class fund. But afterwards,
THE CLASS MUST PAY BACK!!! xD
So, the thing that you all hav to decide is what you want to eat during the gathering. Asst CT pls post the list on the blog. If u all want to bring it on your own, the Asst CT pls indicate who is bringing wad. If u all want to buy together then jus post the list, thats all. i will be back on the 19, at night. I will check the blog, and post the entire concluded thing.
I will check out the map of east coast again to tell you where to meet. it wont be Macs again,
in case we go to the wrong one again. xD
I apologise for being away all this while, but the 'schedule' has been planned, and I hope you will all like it. :D Only sarah will know about it first. :D
